Hi Everyone
The main news this week was the successful launch of my infrared photography exhibition "The World in Infrared" last Friday at Cockenzie House and Gardens in East Lothian. A great evening was had by all and I very much appreciate those who attended. The exhibition runs from 23rd April 2016 for 2 weeks, all welcome to attend. The photos include colour and black and white images from East Lothian and other locations in Scotland.
Some newspaper photography at the weekend, at the Penicuik Sevens and some football, a good day although it was freezing and I was dressed for summer. As a corporate photographer in Edinburgh, I am very much looking forward to the 2 day medical conference in Edinburgh next week. Conference photography is my specialism and I do enjoy it. It also gives me the opportunity to meet my ex colleagues from NHS Education for Scotland. To wrap up next week as an active wedding photographer in East Lothian, I also have a wedding in North Berwick

Hi Everyone
A very busy but enjoyable week. As a wedding photographer in Edinburgh, the first main assignment of the week was a wedding in Dunbar, mixed weather but we had a good time and managed well on the day, thanks to the Rocks Bar for their help on the day, good to get the spring wedding photography season of to a start. On Saturday, I photographed bungee jumpers at the Riverside Museum in Glasgow, great fun, maybe I will have a go next time (or maybe not). Now I am preparing for my Infrared Photography Exhibition, called "The World in Infrared" which starts on 23rd April 2016 and runs for two weeks at Cockenzie House and Gardens, Cockenzie, East Lothian. Just put the photos up, with a little bit of tweaking it will be ready on the day, all welcome to attend. Some newspaper photography to look forward to at the weekend.

A busy week again, with conference photography in Edinburgh, followed by some motor racing at East Fortune Race Circuit and finally a great day at the Scottish Taekwodo Championships at the Ravenscraig Arena at Motherwell, a long day but good fun and some great photo opportunities. As a conference photographer in Edinburgh, things are getting busy and my infrared photography exhibition starts on 23rd April 2016 at Cockenzie House and Gardens, all welcome. Hi All
Busy, busy, busy this week and last week, as a corporate photographer in Edinburgh, I photographed a very interesting conference at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. I am also preparing for my infrared photography exhibition in Scotland, entitled "The World in Infrared", to be held at Cockenzie House and Gardens, Cockenzie, East Lothian on 23rd April 2016, all are welcome. Finally, yesterday as an event photographer, Scotland, I had an interesting photoshoot at a Segway event at Newhailes Musselburgh, great fun and I even had a shot too. Finally, some interesting newspaper photography at the weekend, special congrats go to Penicuik for their league win and a photo is attached.

Hi All
A very busy but satisfying and rewarding week of conference photography Edinburgh and in Manchester for an excellent 2 day medical conference. It was my first time to this thriving city and the length of the event enabled me to get some really creative conference images in low light. Thanks to Shabeer Kolakkat for organising the event and for making me feel welcome and thanks to my fellow photographer Jason Kimmings for the recommendation. Another corporate conference in Edinburgh to look forward to at Murrayfield stadium with NHS Education for Scotland on Thursday. I really enjoy being a corporate photographer in Edinburgh and beyond and look forward to many more. Corporate photography can me both rewarding and challenging. The light is different in every venue, as are the restrictions in relation to using flash. As corporate photographer in Scotland, I have also to be ware of the restrictions in frequency of photography, as you don't want to disrupt the event, but at the same time you must get excellent conference photographs at the end of the day. Then there is the people aspect, you have to get on well with people as you will be right in their faces for a day or two. Then you usually have fair amount of editing afterwards, but I love it and look forward to continuing as a conference photographer in Scotland for along time
