Hi All
In the run up to Christmas, I will be testing out a newly converted infrared camera, hopefully weather permitted, to boost my collection of infrared images in East Lothian and Scotland, may aim is to be one of the prominent infrared photographers in Scotland, by the end of next year. I will also be doing some newspaper photography at the weekend and will be the corporate photographer at a commission at Borders General Hospital on Thursday. If you are looking for a wedding photographer in East Lothian and Edinburgh, I will be taking wedding photography bookings for next year
My Infrared website at www.colinwrightphotography.com was launched last week, with articles in the East Lothian Courier and the Business Gateway Buzz magazine, many thanks to both.
Hoping for better weather at the weekend for my newspaper work for the Midlothian advertiser
All the best
Kind Regards
Colin

Hi All
As a wedding photographer in Scotland, I am always hoping for some decent weather on the day, doesn't have to be wonderful, just not stormy and raining. Well last Saturday, I experienced the most difficult weather conditions ever as a newspaper photographer in Scotland. I was in Midlothian photographing the Christmas Lights ceremonies, most of the events were changed to indoors, but they all made the best of the situations and it is wonderful how people have strong local community spirit and determination in our towns and villages in Scotland. As you know I am also an Infrared photographer photographing Scotland and East Lothian and I did manage to get a few photos taken. I will leave you with the attached shot of Belhaven Bay in Dunbar.
Until the next time
kind Regards
Colin

Hi Everyone
A bit quicker with this blog. The previous one mentioned my infrared photography, while this one concentrates on wedding photography. If you are looking for a wedding photographer in Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian or West Lothian, give me a shout. We have some of the best and most scenic areas in the country and it is a pleasure to photograph wedding couples with the wonderful landscape and architecture available. Last week the wedding of Autumn and Colin was held at Dalhousie Castle in Midlothian, with the reception at the Grosvenor in Edinburgh. A great day was had by all

Hi All
A busy week again, although some time to concentrate on my infrared photography project, in addition to newspaper photography in Dunbar, I had an interesting 5 generations birthday photograph in Dunbar and some wild weather shots at the Pavilion. On Thursday I have some wedding photography in Edinburgh and Dalhousie Castle, Midlothian, so I am looking forward to that. I will leave you with an stormy shot of the Pavilion at Dunbar
