Hi Everyone

A good week all round as I managed some landscape stock photography in East Lothian, then I had a wee trip to Glasgow to take a wide range of urban photography Glasgow, photos for my new Urban Photography Gallery.  Glasgow is one of my favourite cities to photograph, especially the Clyde.  I even got some stormy weather, which was just right, a photo is attached.  All this has been possible as I have a bit of time before my busy period, which involves three days of conference event photography in Edinburgh at the EICC for both the events and some vet photography in Edinburgh, finishing of with some newspaper photography in Midlothian.  I even managed some infrared photography images from Glasgow, to boost my Infrared Photography in Scotland project.  I have a number of projects on the go, my infrared photography one, urban photography, particularly in Edinburgh and a continuation of my Waves project.  However, as I don't have many Glasgow images on this blog, I will leave you with a photo taken this week from that great city.

All the best, until next time.

Kind Regards

Colin

I thought AI would let you all know I am not just a corporate and event photographer Edinburgh and beyond.  I also do a bit of street photography and today I have Started a new gallery page in my portfolio for Urban Photography, Edinburgh and Glasgow and Beyond.  This will showcase Street and urban photography from around Scotland, some old photos, some new and eventually, as a corporate photographer around Edinburgh, also some city architecture images and infrared photography to add to my infrared photography in Scotland project.

So watch this space, a wee image to start us of with.

Until next time.

Kind Regards

Hi All

A good day out with some newspaper photography for the Midlothian Advertiser on Saturday.  A bit cold, but a fine day and some good football, all the Midlothian teams were winning when I left.  I also managed to catch a goal at each game, which is good going considering they all take place at roughly the same time.  A photo is attached from the Newtongrange Star game.  Some conference event photography Edinburgh coming up soon.  Also a day out photographing Glasgow for some stock images, never a hardship, as I love the city.  You never know if the sun keeps up it's good work, I may get a chance to do some infrared photography, as part of my infrared photography in Scotland project.  A rare day off on Saturday, although knowing me I will probably be taking photos one way or another, especially with my new Fuji telephoto lens.

All the best, until next time.

Kind Regrads

Hi All

I know I am always going on about the varied life of a freelance photographer and as a photographer in Edinburgh, this week was no exception, some corporate conference event photography in Edinburgh, mixed in with some landscape photography East Lothian, Scotland and finishing of with some newspaper photography Edinburgh and the Lothians at the weekend, in this case sport with the Midlothian Advertiser.  However, this week I did something for the first time, I photographed the Northern Lights in Dunbar on Tuesday 7th November, this was a new experience for me and I enjoyed it and look forward to trying it again.  It was good fun, but I will be more prepared next time.  I have since done more research on the topic and will be better prepared with the right gear, Oh and also a torch and warm clothing, I tripped over something on the ground, as I was unable to see anything in the dark.  Anyway here is the result.

Until next time

Kind Regards

Colin
