Christmas, Football and Corporate Event Photography Edinburgh

Hi All
As an Edinburgh photographer, this time of year always brings a variety of jobs for me, as a newspaper photographer in Edinburgh and the Lothians, I have just finished the Christmas lights ceremonies in Midlothian, along with football in between (photo attached from the Dalkeith Thistle junior game) and I will be doing some event photography in Edinburgh, where I will see my old friends at NHS Education for Scotland. Its back to the EICC in Edinburgh, one of my favourite photographic venues. I will also be involved in a vet photoshoot again in Edinburgh. These are always good fun, then just at the start of next week, I will be photographing Rock bands in Edinburgh and East Lothian. Its all happening and its a great way to lead up to the Christmas period. I may even have some time for my Infrared Photography in Scotland project, weather permitted. Everything from footballers, to animals to conferences and Christmas lights, variety is the spice of life and all that. If anything this has been my most varied year of photography so far in my career, long may it continue. Also testing out some new Fuji gear, very happy with the 100-400mm lens for sport and the sharpness is impressive on all their lenses, watch out Canon, plus I wont have a sore back carrying all the smaller mirrorless equipment.

Hi All
After a period of being in bed with the flu, sorry the blog is a few days late. I have hit the ground running and recovered just in time for a 2 day conference photography commission in Edinburgh at the EICC, one of my favourite venues. The event was opened by the First Minister of Scotland, for the NatCap Edinburgh 2017 two day conference. As a conference and event photographer Edinburgh, of all my conference venues in Edinburgh, I particularly enjoy the EICC. This was a very interesting international event, with environmental protection at the heart of the agenda. I also have some newspaper photography Edinburgh, at the weekend and another corporate conference event in Edinburgh for NHS Education for Scotland next week and a Vet photoshoot, so it s all go in the lead up to Christmas, so no sign of having time yet for the dreaded Christmas shopping.

Glasgow Urban Photography And Corporate Event Photography Edinburgh

Hi Everyone
A good week all round as I managed some landscape stock photography in East Lothian, then I had a wee trip to Glasgow to take a wide range of urban photography Glasgow, photos for my new Urban Photography Gallery. Glasgow is one of my favourite cities to photograph, especially the Clyde. I even got some stormy weather, which was just right, a photo is attached. All this has been possible as I have a bit of time before my busy period, which involves three days of conference event photography in Edinburgh at the EICC for both the events and some vet photography in Edinburgh, finishing of with some newspaper photography in Midlothian. I even managed some infrared photography images from Glasgow, to boost my Infrared Photography in Scotland project. I have a number of projects on the go, my infrared photography one, urban photography, particularly in Edinburgh and a continuation of my Waves project. However, as I don't have many Glasgow images on this blog, I will leave you with a photo taken this week from that great city.

I thought AI would let you all know I am not just a corporate and event photographer Edinburgh and beyond. I also do a bit of street photography and today I have Started a new gallery page in my portfolio for Urban Photography, Edinburgh and Glasgow and Beyond. This will showcase Street and urban photography from around Scotland, some old photos, some new and eventually, as a corporate photographer around Edinburgh, also some city architecture images and infrared photography to add to my infrared photography in Scotland project.
