As a commercial photographer in Edinburgh who regularly photographs conferences and events in Scotland, it is nice every now and again to get a happy event, one that's a bit different to wedding photography.  At the weekend, I photographed a 60th birthday celebration event at the Scottish National Galleries restaurant in Edinburgh.  A great day was had by all and I already knew some of the guests, having previously done corporate photography commissions for them in the past.  its always easier to photograph people when you know them and when you are made to feel welcome, which I certainly was.  There are no photos to show yet, but hopefully some later on.  In addition to corporate photography in Edinburgh, I was also out and about and as an infrared photographer in Scotland last week, the weather has been pretty good (until the last few misty days), so I will leave you with a landscape/infrared image from Flotterstone, Midlothian, just outside Edinburgh.  This week some event photography in Scotland, newspaper photography and as a wedding photographer in Edinburgh, I am starting to get busy with weddings in East Lothian and Edinburgh.
