Hi All

The end of a very busy and wet week for me.  With the stormy weather, I was out taking landscape photographs at the East Beach in Dunbar East Lothian and was hit by a freak wave that destroyed my camera and almost me.  One second it was totally calm then the next the wave came out of nowhere.  Anyway, these things happen, the attached photo was taken about 5 minute before the incident with a zoom lens, far enough back to be safe and not that close to the waves. 

I had a conference photography event in Edinburgh last week and I am starting to take bookings for corporate event photography around Scotland for the remainder of the year and the beginning of next year.  After getting wet during the week, I ended the week at a very enjoyable photoshoot at a bungee jumping event at the Riverside Museum, Glasgow, a good day was had, thanks again to the Big Bang Promotions crew.  However, once again I got very wet.  So I am looking forward to some dry photography commissions soon.  Of to Scone Place on Tuesday to photograph a Jaguar for a classic car event later next year.  Also some newspaper photography for the Midlothian Advertiser at the weekend.  Hope to get some more infrared photography, as part of my Infrared Photography in Scotland project before the light goes.
