Hi Everyone

Had a good day on Monday photographing a Whisky Blending event at the Nauticus Bar in leith for Douglas Laing, whisky blenders and bottlers.  As a corporate photographer in Edinburgh, I have been getting a wide range of commissioned work these days and this was one of the more interesting ones.  I have been to the Whisky Experience venue at the Castle in Edinburgh before but this event was held at the Nauticus Bar in Leith, a fantastic old oak bar with interesting decor.  Although I had a brief of photographing the participants with their whisky and few other still life photos, I was also able get creative with my gear, getting used to the touch screen on the Canon EOS R now, although I am still pretty annoyed at the hassle of having to send the photos to my phone as a back up because Canon in their wisdom, decided to only have a one card slot, still it's a great camera.
