Corporate Event Photography Re-starts - Store Opening Photoshoot in Edinburgh, Scotland
Finally the corporate event photography commissions re-started for me this week in Edinburgh with a corproate store opening photoshoot at the Company Shop in Edinburgh. This was a photoshoot like no other, with the participants social distancing and wearing masks indoors. It was enjoyable but definately a bit different from an other photoshoot I have done. The Master Chef Gary Mclean was there to open this grand store in Edinburgh, which was also attended by company representatives from the food and clothing industries. As this was the first time I really had to wear a mask at a photoshoot, luckily I took my contact lenses, as I was unable to see through my glasses with my mask on. As images during the virus are very importnat just now, I had to ask the participants to social distance, as we would not be able to use photos where they were standing too close to each other, so this was new to me, especially when it is human nature to move closer to someone when you are taliking to them. For outdoor group shots and the cutting of the ribbon photos, normally, I would ask people to group as closely together as possible but in this case we had to improvise with gaps in between the people taking part. So it was all very interesting. Still very enjoyable and now I know what to do on a socially distanced photoshoot.
Looking forward to more corporate and event commissions in Edinburgh and throughout Scotland.
Until next time.
All the best
