New Horizons for Photographers in Scotland
As we move into the new year, we are all hoping for a more positive future with the effects of covid being felt on photographers and other businesses. The corporate and event photography event commissions in Scotland have started up again and I recently photographed an award ceremony in Edinburgh. It was a very enjoyable event held in the wonderful Signet library just of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. The event was for the MRG Media Awards and was attended by a number of media organisations, including the major television companies and everyone had a good time. However, due to the new covid variant, there has been a bit of a halt for some event commissions, but hopefully this will be a temporary thing and we will advance forward. In the meantime, I have been doing some infrared photography in the Campsie Fells and photographing Southbank Marina in Kirkintilloch. I am also hoping to get some landscape and infrared photography in over the festive period at loch Lomond, near my new home.
Anyway, until next time.
