Loch Lomond in infrared by fine art and conference photographer Edinburgh, Colin Wright

Hi Everyone

A quick extra blog today following a trip with my good friend Derek Isles who was good enough to take me out on his boat to Loch Lomond prior to a big week of photographing conferences in Edinburgh.  I had the opportunity to shoot some infrared photography with my Lumix, although the water could be choppy at times.  I think in this case the colour infrared worked best on the mountains surrounding the loch.  As with all these photoshoots, I have learned and will improve on my next trip and I will know exactly the right type of gear.  As a professional commercial photographer in Edinburgh, you always should note down the key points from every photoshoot and learn from the outcome.  In this case the main aim was to enjoy the trip and the photography was secondary but you know me, I will always take my camera.  Oh and next time I will bring some waterproof housing to keep my camera dry.  The weather was perfect for infrared photography, with some blue sky and cloud, without rain and I have posted a few photos, with more on the way soon.

Anyway, until next time.

Kind Regards

Colin
