Hi Everyone

Just back from a couple of days in Argyll when I was involved in capturing some great infrared photos to enhance my infrared photography in Scotland portfolio.  As a professional event and conference photographer in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Scotland, I like the fact that I can switch from event and conference photography to some fine art infrared photography now and again and Argyll in Scotland is definately the place to be with lots of foliage, blue skies with clouds and lochs. As a conference photographer in Edinburgh I am often involved in all day events, sometimes as much as 3 day events, as the Airmic conference in Edinburgh was earlier this year and the contrast of getting outdoors for some infrared photography helps keep me fresh.  As an event photographer in Scotland, the ability to act quickly to enable me to capture the moment is a skill which is very useful in fine art and infrared photography. My insight into the weather in Scotland is also useful for all types of outdoor photography, in addtion to grasping the photographic concepts of composition and light.

So keep in mind a good photo is exactly that no matter what the genre and any photography is better than sitting around without your camera.  Anyway, later this month I have a commission for Penguin books at Linlithgow Academy, can't wait for that and this will be followed by some conference and PR photography in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
