Classic cars, Corporate Event Photography and Infrared
Hi All
A quick blog today. Following my classic car photoshoot. Lots going on, getting into my
infrared photography in Scotland stuff now, planning on taking it to
a new level in medium format. A quick word of
thanks to the infrared community, particularly
the gang at Creative IR. There is a thriving
community out there offering advice and sharing
experiences.
Coming up soon a corporate photography headshot
commission in Edinburgh, some food and interior hotel
photography in East Lothian and a PR Event photoshoot at

Corporate Event Photography Scotland
Hi All
A quick blog today just to say I had the pleasure of working with the guys at the Classic Car event at Scone Palace Perthshire press launch for their event on 21st and 22nd April 2018. As a professional event corporate photographer in Edinburgh and beyond attending events around Scotland, it is always a pleasure to photograph these fantastic classic cars and also to get the opportunity to add to my infrared in Scotland Project. What's more a peacock opened up and displayed all its colours for me. Great day and Looking forward to April.

Landscape Infrared and Newspaper and PR Photography in Scotland
Hi Everyone
Another good week, out photographing some more infrared in the hills, as part of my infrared in Scotland project. I went to Flotterstone in Midlothian in the hope of catching some snow on the hills, but most of it was gone by then. This begs the question, how exactly does snow react to infrared photography, or the other way round, if you know what I mean, because infrared photos, especially black and white create the effect of snow when it is not snowing, the answer is that you can still tell when its snowing and you tend to get a more glowing effect when there is snow. Its still good to try and get some trees which aren't covered in snow, as you will need the sun reflecting on the green to create the dramatic effect. There are a number of images on my website at www.colinwrightphotography.co.uk which demonstrate the infrared effect in snow, including my Highland Cow photo which is for sale at 15% discount if you click on the front page of my website above. However, just to confuse things I will leave you with a photo that wasn't taken in the snow from Flotterstone, taken on friday. Other things on this week, include a PR press launch photography for the vintage car photo I took earlier on in the year at Scone Palace in Perthshire and corporate headshot photography in Edinburgh.
