Music and Corporate Photogrpahy Edinburgh and Maybe a bit of Infrared Photography
Hi All
A good week to be a professional photographer in Edinburgh, taking some infrared photography around the city, with the week ending in a music photography commission in Edinburgh for the Edinburgh Rock Project, a great little music school for children, culminating in a summer rock concert in Edinburgh. Photographing children at music concerts is both great fun and challenging. They can be nervous, but the pride and joy they get from performing can be great to capture. These kind of photoshoots can be challenging due to the lack of space and light and you have to strike a balance between getting good shots and pestering the performers and the audience. This was a good day though and I will post some shots later once they have been approved by the client. This week sees some infrared photography, hopefully on Wednesday at the Kelpies in Falkirk (infrared photo attached featured in international website this week) and a headshot photography commission in Edinburgh for NHS Education for Scotland. I have the weekend free, but generally that means I will take photos of some sort during that time. I also have a conference photography commission in Glasgow the following week and more supercar photography, with wedding photography in Haddington, East Lothian at the start of July, so its all happening.

Supercar Photography and Event and Corporate Photography edinburgh
Hi All
A good weekend photographing Supercars at East Fortune, just outside Edinburgh, with mixed weather. A bit jaded just now, but recovering from an enjoyable 3 day photoshoot. I will also be doing some corporate conference photography in Edinburgh later on in the week and possibly some food photography in Newcastle. The weather is also pretty cool for infrared photography in Scotland, with plenty of trees and I will always take the opportunity to get as many shots as possible. Saturday also sees me photographing a youth concert in Edinburgh for the Rock Project, really enjoyed this last year and looking forward to doing some music photography in Edinburgh. As an Edinburgh photographer, its always good to get plenty of variety of work, which as we all know is the spice of life. A photo is attached of the Supercars. Now, back to the World Cup, which I missed at the weekend.

Infrared and Corporate Photography in Edinburgh and Beyond
Hi All
I good week, with a corporate headshot photography commission in Edinburgh and a lot of infrared photoshoots. This was one of my best weeks for infrared photography, with two of my photos being featured by the two main international infrared groups, although both photos were taken from the same location at Aberlady Bay in East Lothian, they were from different days, which goes to show the benefit of returning to the location to perfect the image. Also the photos chosen did not depict the main attraction, the bridge at Aberlady, which emphasises the benefit of just looking around you, away from the crowds ie to do the opposite of everyone else. The week ahead will be busy, with a food photoshoot on Thursday in Fife and some sports photography just outside Edinburgh at East Fortune. I will also be doing infrared photography, with a view to holding an infrared photography exhibition in Edinburgh soon and finally, I have a conference photography commission in Edinburgh.

Infrared Photography Scotland and More Corporate Event Photography Edinburgh
Hi All
A busy week and a good one for infrared photography, I managed to combine my food photography commissions in Lothian with some infrared photography to boost my Infrared Photography in Scotland project, with photos of the bridges at South Queensferry, photograph attached and the bridge at Aberlady. Finishing off with some landscape photography Scotland with some infrared highland cow photos in the Pentlands, near Edinburgh, although I managed to lose my favourite hat, still it was worth the sacrifice.
This week will see me going to Edinburgh for corporate headshot photos and finishing with some vintage car photos, weather permitted I will hopefully get them in infrared. I also have some wedding photography in East Lothian coming up and more motor sport photography soon, with a couple of conference event photography commissions in Edinburgh, its all happening just now. We are hitting the peak time for infrared photography, with lots of daylight and sun, the trees are also starting to look good, remember, we want trees and sun (with some clouds) the rest is up to the photographer, in relation to the composition and you have even more creative scope with colour infrared. So hopefully it will be a good infrared photography summer.
