Hi All
 

A good week with a corporate photography commission in Glasgow and as an active conference photographer, Scotland, I am involved in a further corporate photography commission in Edinburgh next week.  I also have some wedding photography in East Lothian and as an active event photographer Scotland, it doesn't get any more active than bungee jumping in Glasgow next sunday.  However the main focus of the week is the wedding photography commission in East Lothian on Saturday, looking forward to it at Harvest Moon Tree Houses, Tyninghame, East Lothian.  It promises to be a great day. As a specialist infrared photographer, UK, I will leave you with a rather alternative infrared photograph from the location.

Hi Everyone

Well thats the end of the Edinburgh Festival.  As mentioned last week, I had the pleasure of a recent photocall for an up and coming theatre company from New York which was a great experience.  Back to reality at he weekend with some interesting newspaper photography for the Midlothian Advertiser, great weather and as a sports photographer in Scotland, it was a good day for some junior football.  I was also involved in a couple of events, one in the tiny but wonderful village of Cousland in Midlothian, for their summer village event, a good day was had by all.  I am looking forward to my final summer wedding of the year.  As an Edinburgh wedding photographer, it has been a good year and I finish it of with a wedding at Harvest Moon, at the tree houses in East Lothian, looking forward to it.   This week, I will be doing some corporate photography in Edinburgh.  As a conference photographer in Edinburgh, I will now be adding infrared photography to my corporate images, whilst the sun is still shining of course.   Anyway, until next time, I will leave you with sports image from the weekend Newtongrange Star v Linlithgow junior football game

Hi Everyone

An interesting week last week and this week, so far. As an Edinburgh event photographer, I was out and about photographing a supercar event again last weekend.  The weather was a bit challenging but a good weekend was had again.  Since then I have been using my new infrared camera.  As an active infrared photographer in Scotland, I am regularly out and about and some of you will be aware that I had an accident and lost my camera after slipping on seaweed at Cove Bay, nearly broke my arm as well, but that's another story.  I now have the newly converted camera and its been great fun trying it out, expect more colour infrared photography around Scotland and the UK.  Some new infrared photos from the Edinburgh Festival on the site at www.colinwrightphotogrpahy.co.uk

I was at an interesting photocall yesterday for a great company at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for the opening of Romana Soutas, Hyena at Paradise Palms, Lothian Street, Edinburgh, for a New York theatre company, check out their website at www.hyenatheplay.com. In addition to the main indoor images, I also took some infrared photographs, one attached to this blog.  I have some corporate and PR photography in Edinburgh coming up, with some conference photography in Scotland and as a wedding photographer, we are entering the end of the busy period, with a wedding in about two weeks time in East Lothian.  Also some newspaper photography at the weekend, where I will continue my journey as a sports photographer in Edinburgh and Midlothian.
