Hi All
Another very busy week, ending in some newspaper photography in Scotland for the Midlothian Advertiser, photo attached from a heated junior game between Arniston Rangers and Armadale Thistle, well done Arniston, good result, keep it up. I have a big corporate event photography photoshoot in Edinburgh for NHS Education for Scotland at Murrayfield Stadium, followed by a seascape photography talk at North Berwick camera club, which I am looking forward to. It keeps you alive and on your toes when you are able to photograph different photographic disciplines and its always an honour to be asked to speak about your creative work, thanks to North Berwick Camera Club for inviting me.
As a corporate event photographer in Scotland I am always trying to introduce new angles to my service and I now offer the possibility of some corporate infrared photography within all my event photography Scotland commissions, weather permitting of course.
Finally I am away to photograph some supercars at the weekend in Lochgely, Fife

Hi Everyone
A busy week ending in a three day supercar event, with some corporate photography in Edinburgh, Scotland earlier on in the week. I will be doing some newspaper photography at the weekend and as an event photographer, Edinburgh, more supercar photography next week at Lochgelly in Fife. The supercar events are long but also good fun. Its hard work, but there are plenty opportunities to improve your sports photographer skills and a good chance you will get practice in all weather conditions. The company also do corporate supercar events and I am looking forward, as an active event photographer in Edinburgh, to combining my conference photographer skills with some sports work. The location at East Fortune is just opposite the National museum of flight and I attach an infrared photography Scotland image taken in between shooting cars.
Anyway that enough for one week, some wedding photography, Edinburgh at the weekend also, so, busy busy, busy.

Hi Everyone
Another busy week, with some corporate photography, Edinburgh, also as an event photographer in Scotland, I had a very enjoyable commission at Haddington, East Lothian for a 50th birthday party celebration event at the weekend. Also this week, I have been taking some infrared photos in Edinburgh, one of them attached. As an infrared photographer in Scotland, I am trying to capture the last bit of sunshine as we approach autumn. When the sunlight goes, so does the ability to photograph infrared images, although it is always possible on a sunny afternoon even in winter, however we will lose that green tree, snow white infrared effect as the leaves begin to drop mind you, but this just makes it even more important to find other infrared options ie metallic subject matter and utilising the contrasty skies we have in this part of the world.
I have a busy time ahead, with some conference photography in Edinburgh and as a wedding photographer in Edinburgh, I also have an event in Edinburgh before the weekend, followed by some supercar photography at the end of the week.

Hi Everyone
I have had a very busy week with a bit of everything going on. Firstly some corporate photography in Glasgow on tuesday, then some infrared photography around Scotland, finishing with newspaper photography at the weekend with the Midlothian Advertiser, with some interesting football and rugby photography, photo attached from the Penicuik Athletic v Kelty Hearts junior football game. This week I have more conference photography in Edinburgh and a birthday party event photography photoshoot at East Lothian. As a wedding photographer in Edinburgh, I am always looking for new angles and things to introduce and I now offer infrared wedding photography as part of my service. It just adds that something extra and special for the couple (weather permitting of course as dull rainy days dont work). The last wedding I photographed in East Lothian, I produced some different artistic imagery in infrared, which the wedding couple were very pleased with.
Just to let you know, there will be some updates to my www.colinwrightphotography.co.uk website in the near future, to improve the design and user friendliness of the site. So anyway, until next time, got to rush, as I am of to a corporate photography Edinburgh photoshoot.

Hi Everyone
A very busy week, hence the late blog. The end of last week and this week, I was involved in an enjoyable 3 day motor shoot event photography at East Fortune, Scotland. The weather was great, I got a bit burnt and the cars were cool. On the final day, there was a charity event organised by secondary school children in aid of the school, photo attached, a great day was had by all. As a wedding photographer in Scotland, I have a wedding coming up in Edinburgh and I had some corporate photography in Glasgow, with a company called Encompass, thanks to Alex Ford for getting in touch with me for this one. Next week, more conference photography in Edinburgh and some newspaper photography at the weekend. Also, well done to all the students at Dunbar Grammar for their success in the Awards ceremony last week, that I photographed for the East Lothian Courier.
