A busy week, out and about with the Midlothian Advertiser for some newspaper photography, at the Loanhead Gala Day, Midlothian, photo attached. A good time was had by all with the weather playing its part. I also had a corporate photography commission and as an Edinburgh commercial photographer, I was out and about taking some stock images in Edinburgh and East Lothian, mainly infrared photography. As a commercial photographer in Edinburgh, I will be out and about taking images relating to the political situation at the moment, following the EU referendum, particularly at the Scottish Parliament. A quick blog this week. Due to the fog the weather has not been good in the east of Scotland for infrared photography, but an infrared photographer never gives in and I have been talking some infrared shots in East Lothian in the few moments when the sun was out. My next project will be corporate infrared photography, combining my architecture photography skills with infrared photography. Infrared photography in Scotland gives us all lots of opportunities and I can't wait to explore further.

Hi All
Another busy week for a corporate photographer in Edinburgh. I had a good conference photography commission last week in Edinburgh, followed by a Motorsport photoshot at East Fortune in East Lothian. Really awful weather on Friday, but we all made the best of it, we have a good team at ThrillPic and it was a good weekend. On Saturday the weather picked up and it was a good day. This week I will be doing some bungee jumping photography and also newspaper photography on Saturday. As an Edinburgh photographer, specialising in conference photography Edinburgh, I am looking forward to some corporate outdoor architecture photography commissions, utilising the late night light at the golden time of day. I also hope to combine this with some infrared corporate photography. Let's hope for some good weather at the weekend as I will be outdoors all the time.

Hi All
As a commercial photographer in Edinburgh who regularly photographs conferences and events in Scotland, it is nice every now and again to get a happy event, one that's a bit different to wedding photography. At the weekend, I photographed a 60th birthday celebration event at the Scottish National Galleries restaurant in Edinburgh. A great day was had by all and I already knew some of the guests, having previously done corporate photography commissions for them in the past. its always easier to photograph people when you know them and when you are made to feel welcome, which I certainly was. There are no photos to show yet, but hopefully some later on. In addition to corporate photography in Edinburgh, I was also out and about and as an infrared photographer in Scotland last week, the weather has been pretty good (until the last few misty days), so I will leave you with a landscape/infrared image from Flotterstone, Midlothian, just outside Edinburgh. This week some event photography in Scotland, newspaper photography and as a wedding photographer in Edinburgh, I am starting to get busy with weddings in East Lothian and Edinburgh.

Hi All
As its getting hotter out there, I am hoping for more outdoor newspaper photography, gala days and sports photography. However, as a corporate photographer in Edinburgh, there is always scope for corporate photography at company retreat events and for group shots at Edinburgh conferences. I actually may have a free weekend for the first time in two months, due to an event cancellation, so I will be out and about capturing some infrared photography images and some Scottish landscape photographer shots. In addition to recent conference photography, Edinburgh, I photographed some surfers at Belhaven Bay, photo attached. I will also be attending some event photography in East Lothian at the weekend and hope to do some architecture photography in Edinburgh at the beginning of the week.
