Hi All

A good end to the week with the wonderful Big Bang Promotions team, photographing a Segway event just outside Edinburgh.  Great fun was had by all, photo attached.  As a corporate conference and event photographer Edinburgh, I am busy at the moment, with lots of events and conference photography commissions in Edinburgh and around Scotland.  I am also updating my fine art photography Scotland website at www.edinburghphotographer.com and preparing fine art infrared photos for sale at the Art Collective, soon to be at Ocean Terminal in Edinburgh.  My next move on the infrared photography front, as part of my infrared photography in Scotland project, is to convert a digital medium format camera to infrared, with a view to producing large infrared prints.

Also this week, I will be back on a newspaper photography Edinburgh shift for Johnston Press and the Midlothian Advertiser, looking forward to some sports photography and other Cool jobs.  Anyway, until next time.

Hi All

Still clinging onto the last bit of summer, with some recent local landscape photography, photo attached, taken at Dunbar, East Lothian.  Last week, some corporate event photography in Edinburgh, infrared photography in Scotland, as part of my project and I also attended a very useful "Meet the Buyer" event in Hampden Stadium, Glasgow, which I found very helpful, in that I made some good contacts, particularly from local authorities, who are looking to commission photographers in Scotland and also some private building firms.  The weekend sees some Segway photography in East Lothian and a corporate event photoshoot in Glasgow.

As a landscape photographer in Scotland, I am taking advantage of living right next to the sea, to boost my landscape collection and some of these images can be viewed on my new Fine Art website at www.edinburghphotogrpaher.com.  My next project is to convert a high level digital camera to infrared, either a medium format body or an ultra high resolution camera.  This will enable me to produce large scale infrared prints.  I am also hoping to take more infrared imagery with people involved, particularly for weddings and other events.

Hi All

Now that we are entering slightly colder and darker times, the wedding season comes to a close, although as a wedding photographer Edinburgh, I am always interested in wedding commissions in the winter.  Just had a couple of very enjoyable weddings in East Lothian and Edinburgh recently.  However, this week ended in some newspaper photography in Midlothian at the weekend, photo attached from the Penicuik Athletic match.  The rest of last week involved a corporate conference photography event in Edinburgh and an interesting and enjoyable vet photoshoot in East Lothian.  Still doing the infrared photography in Scotland project, although there are less opportunities for sunshine with the light fading, never mind it is still possible.  Check out my new Fine Art website at www.edinburghphotographer.com.  Its still in the early stages but plenty of landscape, fine art and infrared on display.  On the subject of infrared photography, from the end of this week, some of my infrared work will be available for sale in professional mounts at the Art Collective, 139 Princes Street, Edinburgh EH14 4BL.  This is a wonderful organisation that supports Scottish artists, providing them with a platform to sell their work and it also provides exhibition space.  I am hoping to hold an exhibition at the venue early next year.
