Landscape Photography Scotland and Corporate Photography Edinburgh

I have had a chance to do some landscape photography over the past week, photo attached to this blog from North Berwick, Scotland. As a professional corporate and event photographer in Edinburgh, it is always good to get the opportunity to pursue some personal projects. In addition to my infrared photography in Scotland project, I am also a landscape photographer Edinburgh and I particularly enjoy photographing seascapes around Scotland. A trip to Skye is on the cards soon, cant wait. This week I have some sports photography in Fife, Scotland, along with some newspaper and PR photography at the weekend, which I imagine will involve some local gala days or political stuff, with the election coming soon.
I think it is very important to pursue individual projects to keep fresh and whilst it is always good to specialise to a certain extent, you also need variety and personal projects, almost obsessively, to express yourself in a creative way. After all it is our love of photography that draws us to the profession in the first place and this is important to remember during financially tight times. Anyway, about to prepare for a conference event photography commission in Edinburgh and some corporate headshot photography in Glasgow, Scotland.

Sports Photography and a bit of Infrared Photography in Scotland

A busy week again, with some great weather for my infrared photography in Scotland project. As a professional event corporate photographer in Edinburgh I had the pleasure of photographing a two day conference in last week and conference photography in Edinburgh is my specialism, but every now and again I get the opportunity to do something a bit different and as I keep focusing on in my blogs, it is this type of variety that keeps us fresh as photographers and enables us to move into new ground. Over the last few weeks I have photographed conferences in Edinburgh, an engagement proposal photoshoot in Edinburgh, a horse in Macmerry and to end this week, some sports photography in East Lothian with the supercars in East Fortune. Great weather all weekend, some photos soon, but in the meantime, I thought I would leave you with an infrared photo from nearer home at Belhaven Bay, Dunbar. There was a dramatic cloud formation and infrared brought it out a bit more.
