Event Photography and back in stride with Newspaper and PR work

A busy week with a bit of everything from a photography point of view. Not sure whether to include an event photography Edinburgh photo from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, or a corporate photography Scotland image, so I decided on some sports photography from the Newtongrange Star junior match at the weekend, taken during my newspaper shift for the Midlothian Advertiser. Good game and a good weekend of sport, although I missed out on the home side goals during my shift. Its just a luck thing, as I go from game to game during the afternoon.
I have also been continuing with my infrared photography in Scotland project at the Festival and done some HDR photography near my new location at Dunbar. Now on the website, hope you like it.
This week, some corporate event photography in Edinburgh and preparation for weddings next month, in addition to more Festival and landscape shots.

Edinburgh Fringe Festival and other Event Photograhy in Edinburgh

Hi All
Out and about at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival when I get a chance last week and hopefully in the next week or so, between event and corporate photography commissions in Edinburgh. The photo attached to this blog was taken last Thursday. As usual a great atmosphere, more challenging now due to the crowds, but I am used to that, I have just returned from the Isle of Skye and noticed that it has turned from a quiet island in the north west of Scotland to one of the busiest tourist destinations in the country. Also this week I had a corporate photography commission in Edinburgh and some event photography with motor sports photography at East Fortune near Edinburgh. As an infrared photographer in Scotland, I haver to take advantage of the weather and the blue sky with clouds and sunshine weather we have been getting recently (with a few stormy showers in between mind you) is ideal for the infrared photographer and the images I take will be added to further my Infrared Photography in Scotland project.

Corporate, Event and Infrared Photography at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Scotland
Hi All
It's all hotting up with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival well underway. This year, I am going to attempt to cover it as much as I can in infrared, within limits, due to other work, such as a corporate conference event photography commission in Edinburgh, followed by some motor sport photography at East Fortune at the weekend. I have also just moved house, so everything is still in boxes, but I always know where my camera is. In addition, as part of my infrared photography in Scotland project, I will be continuing to add infrared images from my Skye trip last month to the website. Also a fine art website is on the way. I also have a few wedding photography in Scotland assignments coming up in September. So its all go. I will leave you with a quick photo at took just before the start of this years Edinburgh Fringe Festival, more to come after I visit Edinburgh on Monday.

Corporate Photographer Edinburgh and Bungee Jumping in Glasgow
Hi All
A busy time over the last week. A quicker blog as am am half way through moving house to a new location in Dunbar. Last week was very interesting with a corporate conference event photography commission in Edinburgh and some interesting vet photography in Edinburgh, finishing of with some bungee jumping event photography in Glasgow. Oh the life of an event photographer, pretty varied. Tomorrow I will be doing some Segway photography and I between all that some infrared photography, as part of my infrared photography in Scotland project. Another one from Skye attached.
