Landscape Photographer Scotland and beyond
Hi Everyone
Just back from a combined holiday and landscape photography on the Isle of Skye, on of my favourite places on the planet, photo attached. This time I decided to do most of the photos in infrared, as part of my Infrared Photography in Scotland project. Most aspects of photography have been attempted again and again, but I feel there is a place for more infrared images in Scotland and I aim to further this project as much as I can in the coming moths and years. I will be launching a new website for my infrared and fine art work soon, watch this space. Anyway, as a professional event photographer in Edinburgh and Glasgow, I am off to photograph a bungee jumping event at the weekend. I love event photography in Glasgow and I am looking forward to it. Tomorrow, I am off to Edinburgh for some professional corporate event photography and I have a conference photography event in Edinburgh the following week. I am just finding my feet after my return from Skye, so hope to have development in a lot of new projects soon.

Newspaper Photography, Scotland and Edinburgh and Event Photography Edinburgh
Hi All
A good week, ending with some newspaper photography for the Midlothian Advertiser, photographing two sisters who were having their haircut for the very worthwhile Bright Sparks charity in Midlothian, thanks to Beauts Hairdressers in Rosewell for their co-operation on the day. A photo is attached to this blog. Great weather, until thursday, for some infrared photography, to form part of my infrared photography in Scotland project. I will be of to the Isle of Skye, at the end of the week, hopefully for some good infrared and landscape photography, if the weather allows. When I return, I have a conference photography assignment in Edinburgh and some event photography in Glasgow. As a professional event photographer in Scotland, this is a great time of the year, with the long days and weather providing photographers like myself with great opportunities for event photography, landscape, weddings and a wide range of outdoor opportunities.

Motor Sport Photography Edinburgh and a bit of Infrared Photography Scotland

Hi All
Just finished a very enjoyable 3 day motor sport event with Thrillpic at East Fortune near Edinburgh. As a sports photographer in Scotland, you are always praying for good weather and it held out pretty well for all three days, more opportunity to top up my tan. In addition, I managed to take a few infrared images, to add to my infrared photography in Scotland project, picture attached to this blog. I am off to do some stock landscape and fine art photography in Glasgow and Edinburgh this week I will also be doing a newspaper photoshoot in Dunbar, East Lothian on Wednesday and a corporate headshot in Edinburgh later on in the week. Then to finish off, a corporate event photoshoot in Edinburgh and a newspaper shift with the Midlothian Advertiser on Saturday. Phew, busy week.
I am also in the process of launching a new fine art website, primarily to showcase my infrared, landscape and black and white fine art photography from around Scotland and Europe. Details in next weeks blog.

Sports Photography Edinburgh and Corporate and Event Photography Scotland
Hi All
A busy weekend in this grand weather, ending in a brilliant day covering the European Touch Rugby Championships at Peffermill Edinburgh. In unusually hot weather all day a great day was had by all. As a an event and sports photographer in Edinburgh, it is great to get good weather, especially if you a predominantly an outdoor photographer. However, as all photographers are aware, bright sunny days are also very challenging, you need to ensure you are photographing from the correct position and angle and this can change by the hour. You also dont always having the luxury of changing your position to suit, as you may have restrictions imposed on you by the organisers, or you might need to face a certain direction to cover a specific attacking team. But overall its much better than rain. I had a great day covering the games for one of the England Touch Rugby teams, photo attached.
I also had an interior property photography photoshoot in East Lothian and some corporate event photography in Edinburgh, with a conference photography commission in the centre of Edinburgh.
This week, more sports photography at the end of the week and some conference event photography in Glasgow during the week.
