Motor Sport and Corporate Photography Edinburgh and Infrared Photography Scotland
Hi All
A busy weekend photographing motor sport at Ingliston Edinburgh, photos to follow in due course. I have also had the opportunity to get some infrared photography photography in East Lothian, as part of my Infrared Photography in Scotland project. I purchased a high resolution Nikon D800 camera, which I will get converted in due course, to enable poster sized fine art infrared landscape prints in infrared from various locations around Scotland - watch this space. Other than that, I have been doing some wakeboarding photography at Foxlake, the attached infrared image is from the Foxlake Advertures facility near Dunbar and what a great place it is too, my daughter is hooked on wakeboarding, so I will be driving her there lots in the near future - as for me, I am a bit long in the tooth for wakeboarding, the younger me would have loved it though. I am also getting all prepared for a corporate event photography two day conference in Edinburgh next week. As a commercial professional event photographer in Scotland, this is one of my biggest commissions of the year and I always look forward to it.

Music Photography Scotland and Finally Some Infrared Photography in East Lothian
Hi All
Another busy week with some sports photography at the weekend followed by a very enjoyable music photography commission in Dunbar, Scotland on Sunday, with Setting Sons. A great day and an opportunity to participate in a genre of photography that I love. Music photography is great fun and with Grahame Smith being a well established photographer with a good reputation for high quality wedding photography, he was happy to give me full creative control, a photo attached. Good to hear the band will be playing again in August this year.
I have a new conference photography Edinburgh commission in a couple of weeks time, at the NHS Education for Scotland Medical conference in Edinburgh. This is usually a great event photography commission and as a professional event photographer in Edinburgh, one that I enjoy. I know the staff at NHS Education for Scotland well, they are a great bunch and it assists me when taking the photos. This week has also meant some fresh opportunities to take some infrared photography, to enhance my Infrared Photography in Scotland project, up at Traprain Law again, one of my favourite places.

Supercar Event Photography Event Photography and the Infrared Photography Season
Hi All
I had a good weekend with some sports photography at East Fortune on Saturday and Sunday. It was lovely and sunny but very cold and I think I managed to get sunburnt and frost bite all at the same time, however no rain and that is the main thing. Looking forward to more events throughout the year. This is also the start of the landscape and infrared photography season, giving me the chance to add to my infrared photography in Scotland Project. As a professional event photographer in Edinburgh, I also have a lot going on with some conference photography in Scotland and some music photography at the weekend. As a professional photographer in Scotland, it's always good to get a wide range of work, it keeps you on your toes and broadens your experience. Although I don't have a studio, I still operate indoors and outdoors and my work is most enjoyable and varied. I also value the importance of keeping up with your personal projects and I plan to expand my infrared work, to include medium format infarared in the near future, when funds are available.
