Hi All
I am hitting a busy period just now, which is great. I had a very interesting and enjoyable corporate photography headshot commission in Edinburgh last week, great to see all the gang at MHS Education for Scotland and I am of there again in a couple of days for a corporate conference event photography commission in Edinburgh, this time its at the wonderful conference venue of Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. As an event photographer in Edinburgh, I love conference photography commissions and there are always opportunities to get creative. The motor sport event season has started and the outdoor photography events are in full swing, ie the supercars and bunjee jumping, both in the next few weeks. The car events are great fun, with the main venues at East Fortune and Lochgelly (photo attached form a previous Supercar event) Hopefully I will also get the opportunity to take some infrared photos at these events, as part of my Infrared Photography in Scotland project.
Anyway, busy, busy, busy, better get going.

Hi All
A busy week and the weather is getting better. As a newspaper photographer in Edinburgh, I had an interesting shift at the weekend, photographing football around Mid and East Lothian for the Midlothian Advertiser, photo attached from the Haddington v Dalkeith game. As a corporate event photographer in Edinburgh, things are starting to get busy now, as we approach spring. I have some Corporate headshots with the NHS over the next few weeks, looking forward to that. As an event photographer Edinburgh, its nice to do a variety of work and at the weekend I will be doing some motorsport photography in Fife. It's all go and I even managed to get some infrared photography in Scotland on sunday

As a commercial freelance event photographer Edinburgh, I am often either outdoors as a newspaper sports photographer, Edinburgh, or indoors photographing conferences around Scotland, but there is one event every year which involves indoor photography and sport, its the Scottish Taekwondo Championships at the Ravenscraig Arena in Motherwell. A very enjoyable day and this year I was on duty, along with my colleague Jason Kimmings, for the second day for the under 18 age groups. As usual it was great fun. The one thing gets me every time that is the emotion involved during the sparring events and the capturing of pain, joy and disappointment make it a very interesting event, even if it's not really your sport. Anyway well done to all, photo attached and more on the website.
Now its back to some conference photography in Edinburgh and some outdoor photographer events in Eat Lothian and Fife, Scotland.

A busy week, ending with a particularly frantic weekend, as an event photographer in Edinburgh, it's good to get some different events and for the third time in the last few years , I photographed the Scottish Taekwondo Championships at the Ravenscraig Arena, Motherwell. A great day was had by all, lots of action and emotion, some photos soon. I also had some newspaper photography with the Midlothian Adertiser, with some junior football and a great game between Penicuik and musselburgh, photo attached to the blog.
Last week, I also had a photography event in Edinburgh and I have some conference photography, Edinburgh with NHS Education for Scotland soon. As a commercial photographer in Wdinburgh, you are going to have your busy times and this is certainly one of mine at the moment. Coming up soon, some event photography, outside Edinburgh and a bungee jumping photographer event in Glasgow.

Hi All
The weather is proving to be a bit of a wash out at the moment, with the likelihood that most of the football and rugby will cancelled for my newspaper photography Midlothian Advertiser shift. I will still have a couple of indoor jobs which was just as well. Someone said to me a few weeks ago under similar weather circumstances “thats an easy day for you” but this isn’t an office job. As a sports and event photographer in Edinburgh, you want to be taking photos. You need to be out there and you would do it even if you aren’t getting paid. So anyway here is a photo from the Dunbar United game last weekend, pretty controversial, with Dunbar getting a man sent off in the first 5 minutes, never mind there is always next year.
A busy week with some conference photography Edinburgh coming up and some event photography in Edinburgh and ending with some sports photography at Motherwell with the Scottish Taekwondo championships on sunday – cant wait and its indoors, so they can’t cancel it.
